As part of its ongoing commitment to promoting knowledge sharing and advancing energy awareness, Unigaz Lebanon organized a technical seminar in coordination with the Order of Engineers and Architects (OEA) in Tripoli, bringing together engineers and industry professionals to explore the role of LPG in domestic and industrial applications.
The seminar was presented by Eng. Hicham Hachicho, Operations Manager at Unigaz Lebanon, who provided valuable insights into the versatility, efficiency, and safety of LPG as a reliable, efficient, and lower-carbon energy source across various sectors.
The session provided attendees with a comprehensive overview of LPG, including its characteristics, benefits, and wide range of applications across residential, commercial, industrial, transportation, and power generation sectors.
A significant part of the seminar focused on engineering and safety aspects, including pressure regulation, gas metering, leak detection systems, emergency shut-off mechanisms, piping networks, and tank installation requirements in accordance with applicable regulations and international standards. The discussion also addressed best practices for system design, operation, and emergency response procedures, reinforcing the importance of safety throughout the entire LPG value chain.
Through initiatives such as this seminar, Unigaz Lebanon continues to support professional development and foster meaningful dialogue with industry stakeholders, reinforcing its commitment to safety, innovation, and sustainable energy solutions.
Unigaz extends its appreciation to the OEA in Tripoli for their collaboration in organizing this event and to all participants for their active engagement and valuable contributions.
